"Then the King will say to those at his right hand, 'Come O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, was thirsty and you gave me drink, was a stranger and you welcomed me, was naked and you clothed me, was sick and you visited me,was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the And the King will answer them, “Truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.” Matthew 25:34-39 RSV
Occasionally, in our community, there arise temporary situations where a family or person is unable to cook a well-balanced, hot meal. For example, there may have been a new baby just born, a mother ill with pregnancy sickness, a major family illness, or even a death. Our group seeks to serve God and our community by reaching out to these people at a very vulnerable time in their lives. We hope to be Christ to them in this small way: by providing for them a meal and an experience of Christ's loving and serving church.
Please contact Betsy Uhrich at 393-3438 if you, or someone you know is in need of a meal.
