CKS Dinner Lecture
Time: 5:30 p.m. dinner, 6:30 lecture
Location: Chris the King Seminary
Presented by Rev. Msgr. Richard Siepka
One of the greatest hallmarks of the Second Vatican Council was its teaching on the "Universal Call to Holiness", the belief that each and every individual, not just the ordained and professed, is called to live a holy life as a disciple of Jesus Christ. The question then arises concerning what "being holy" means in 2018. Using a variety of sources, including the recent exhortation on holiness by Pope Francis, we will explore how each of us, regardless of our state in life, can grow in our understanding of that call to be a holy person.
Dinner begins at 5:30 in our main dining room, followed by the lecture at 6:30. Lecture will last about an hour, followed by time for Q&A and discussion.
Dinner + Lecture $35.
Lecture alone $25
