Lenten Lecture: "The Journey to Gethsemane in the Gospel of St. Mark," March 14,  5:30 p.m. dinner, 6:30 lecture  |  Presented by Msgr. Richard Siepka

St. Mark's moving portrayal of Christ in Gethsemane in Mark 14:32-42 deals powerfully with the themes of discipleship, prayer, and sacrifice as well as the very identity of Jesus, himself. In this Year B of the Sunday cycle of readings in which St. Mark's Gospel is featured, this lecture will serve as an entry into the entire Passion narrative of the Gospel of St. Mark as we approach Palm Sunday and the celebration of the Easter Triduum.

To register call Gayle Mann at (716) 805-1438.
