Strong Start offers Handwriting Without Tears, a developmentally appropriate handwriting program; Building Blocks Math, which teaches math using manipulatives; technology; hands-on materials and a literacy program based on New York State standards. Our mission is to educate individuals to become leaders and reach their full potential in a family atmosphere rooted in Catholic tradition and Gospel values.

Now Accepting Applications

Annunciation Early Childhood Learning Center, located at 7580 Clinton St. in Elma, is now accepting applications for its 2019-2020 pre-school program that will begin in September. Pre-K3 will be offered from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays or Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, while Pre-K4/5 will be held from 9 to 11:30 am. Monday through Friday.

Following the New York State core standards for preschools, the primary goal in Annunciation Pre-K is to have your child’s first experience in school be a positive, fun and successful one!

Pre-K students at Annunciation review colors and shapes and begin pre-math, pre-writing and pre-reading skills, and work to develop the social and learning skills that are important for academic success. Students also begin using sign language as a second language and enjoy art, music, library, computers, physical education and science. This is also the perfect age to begin learning prayers.

A $50 non-refundable registration fee and a copy of the child’s birth certificate are required when an application is submitted. Students must be potty trained before the start of the pre-school year.

For more information or to schedule a tour of the Pre-K, please call the office at 681-1327 or email [email protected].
