Music Ministry
Annunciation Church is blessed with talented and dedicated musicians and singers.
We are looking for people with a generous heart, a little extra time, and a willingness to learn music for the liturgy.
- The Contemporary and Folk Ensembles share their love of liturgical music and song using guitars, bass, keyboard, drum, flute and piano.
- The Children's Choir fosters the joy of singing and making music. Our children are introduced to music they will sing throughout their life, as they are prepared to become members of the worshipping assembly.
- The adult choir, Voices of Praise, share their faith, serve our community, and express their love of God through song.
We welcome singers of any age or ability. Our liturgy is enriched by the presence of one or more instruments. Our music ministry has many opportunities to share your gift of voice and instrument. Please contact our Music Director, Cynthia Napieralski, at 683-5254 or after mass to find out more.

New Song Prayer for the Mass!
The Mass, the center of Roman Catholic life, with a new translation of the Roman Missal1, brings us closer to the true meaning of the scripture.
The Mass remains the same. Our familiar prayers are still with us but there will be some changes in the way they are expressed.
On the first Sunday of Advent, November 27, 2011, when the new translation begins to be used in all English speaking countries, the Diocese of Buffalo will begin to use new service music2 that fits with the translation called the “Mass of the Awakening” by Scott Soper3.
Our liturgical musicians have already been given the new music and our Director of Music will then teach it to the assembly. If you want to know more please contact our music director after mass or consult the publications that are available in church.
