Pastor's Message
We celebrate the feast of Pentecost on Sunday May 19. The Ordo summarizes the Scripture readings: “All of us have been baptized into one and the same Spirit, and live by that Spirit. That same Spirit, the Advocate, was given as gift to the disciples to remind them of all that Jesus said and did and to strengthen them to go forth in the name of the Lord.” On Pentecost we wear red vestments but on Monday we wear green. We are back into ordinary liturgical time. Sunday May 26 is the feast of the Most Holy Trinity. Sunday June 2 is the feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. Appropriately, girls and boys will be making their First Holy Communion at weekend Masses. Please join us.
